I love exploring time at preschool! Preschoolers thrive in settings with a consistent routine and solid structure to their school day. At my preschool we spend part of our time theme discussing ideas that go along with:
1. Daily Routines/Schedules
2. Seasons
3. Months/Days/Years
4. Day and Night
5. Calendars
6. Clock Exploration
I also have a TON of age appropriate books about time, and I find that the kids especially love the books that have moveable clocks in them :)

Our Human Body Clock
My favorite time activity to share with preschoolers is our human body clock! We only work on telling times that are on the hour ( 0'clock Times), and we get to use our whole bodies to work on telling time. This activity is engaging, hands-on, and the kids LOVE to use it over and over. By the end of this day all the kids can tell or make times on our little yellow Judy clocks because of this activity.
To Make:
All you need is construction paper, something for the middle of your clock, and floor space. I find that putting something in the middle gives the kids a visual for where there body should go.
I have all my kids sit in a line of chairs at the bottom of the clock. Then I call them up in pairs to make a specific time (that I choose). Again, I only pick hour times. For example: 1 o'clock, 4 o'clock, etc.
After I have given all the kids some times to make, I let them come up in pairs and make their own time, and the rest of the group has to say what time they made :)
